When I first got my .270 Vanguard, it had a long trigger pull with terrible creep. I wrote to them and told them it was not what I expected from anything with the name Weatherby. They worked on it, no charge, and paid shipping both ways. Now - Wow! what a trigger! So crisp and short. It is phenomenal. The accuracy is better than they advertise. The bolt does travel about 160 degrees, if that is a problem for you. But it is solid and I have never had any kind of malfunction. If you are hunting white-tails, antelope and the like, use Remington 100 gr. Express. Flat shooting and effective.
